  1. Boil one-litre milk in a vessel. Add rice when milk comes to a boil.
  2. Continuously stir the milk till the rice is cooked about 80%.
  3. Now add sugar and Kesar milk powder and stir till the sugar dissolves.
  4. Now add dry fruits to kheer.
  5. Enjoy it as a dessert.

Kheer or Payasam is an Indian favorite dessert for special occasions. It is basically rice pudding made with rice and milk infused with saffron, cardamom and assorted dried fruits.
