The ingredients needed to make Salted Patisapta:
  1. Take 3 tbsp flour
  2. Take 2 tbsp semolina
  3. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  4. Make ready 2 tbsp white oil
  5. Take 1 potato (cut in very small cubes)
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup green peas
  7. Make ready pieces Cauliflower -half cut in very small
  8. Take 1 green chilli cut in small pieces
  9. Take Coriander leaves (chopped)
  10. Get to taste Salt
  11. Make ready Pinch turmeric powder
  12. Get Water according to need

Add semolina, sugar, salt and milk into it and make a smooth batter. But mix it carefully not making any lumps. Take a non-stick flat pan or tava. How to make Pati Sapta: Take a pan and add grated coconut and sugar to it.

Instructions to make Salted Patisapta:
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of white oil in a frying pan.
  2. Add potato,cauliflower & saute for 5 mint.Add green peas,chilli & saute for 1 mint.Add salt to taste.
  3. Sprinkle a few drops of water & cover with a lid.Cook till the mixture softens & let it cool.
  4. Preparation of batter - Mix flour & suji in a big bowl. Add water to it to make a batter of medium thickness Add pinch of turmeric powder,salt to taste.
  5. Preparation of Patisapta- Take a frying pan & grease it well with white oil. Sprinkle a few drops of water in the pan.
  6. Pour a full tbsp of batter in the pan & give it a round shape with the back of your spoon.
  7. Place stuffing in a line in the middle of the round shape pancake.
  8. Fold it from bothside & press a little bit on the top.Place it in another plate. Salted Patisapta is ready.

Mash the coconut and mix it properly until the mixture becomes a little moist. Now turn on the flame and put khoya in the pan. A delicious Bengali sweet dish, patishapta is like a thin crepe or pancake made using flour, sooji (semolina), rice flour, and milk. The crepe is then filled with a sweet filling of roasted. It is a Signature Bengali Sweet.
