Steps to make Colourful Patisapta:
  1. Heat ghee, add grated coconut, mawa & date palm jaggery.Cook it for 10 to 15 mins.
  2. Add cashew dust & make a mixture of it.
  3. Now make a batter of rice flour, flour, semolina, sugar, salt & warm water.The consistency of the batter should not be too thick nor too thin.
  4. Make 3 colour of batter.One is white & the other 2 colour is green & red using food colour.
  5. Brush a pan with oil & first apply red or green colour & let it cook for 10 second.
  6. Then cover it with white batter & let it cook for another 30 second.
  7. When one side is cooked well put some coconut mixture on it & wrap it.
  8. Shallow fry the both side.
  9. Now it's ready.Depends on your choice any colour or design can be applied.
