  7. Allow to cool and dust with icing sugar.

Gradually add ice water, tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball. Stir filling well; pour into crust-lined plate. Top with second crust and flute; cut slits in several places. Grate the cold butter on the large side of a box grater directly into the dry ingredients. An old-fashioned mincemeat pie filling made with beef, dried fruit, and sour cherries.
