  6. Take 1 tbsp pure ghee
  7. Take 1/2 tsp elaichi powder

  1. In a pan heat ghee add squeezed grated Lauki,saute a minute. Off the flame.
  2. In a pressure cooker bring to a boil milk and let it simmer for 5 minutes.To it add sauted Lauki, sugar,1/2 of the fresh malai and close the cooker. After 1 whistle lower the flame and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  3. When pressure is released, open the cooker. Lauki must be cooked. Add little more milk, remaining fresh malai and milk powder, stirring regularly that no lumps are formed.
  4. Cook till desired consistency required for the kheer.Add cardmom powder,raisins and almonds. Rabadi LaukiKheer is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped almonds.
  5. Serve hot or cold.
