To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have orange icecream using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Orange icecream:
  1. Prepare 1 Orange (preferrably citrus)
  2. Prepare 200 ml fresh cream
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup condensed milk
  4. Take 1 tsp lemon juice
  5. Take 1 tsp lemon zest
  6. Take 1-2 drops vanilla essence or orange essence
  7. Make ready 2-4 saffron strands soaked in 2 tsp warm milk
  8. Take 1 tsp tutti frutti

This ice cream is literally the easiest thing to make. A couple of hours before you want to make this, peel and section your oranges. Lay them flat on a tray and freeze until solid. Creamy vanilla ice cream, coated in a layer or bright orange sherbet?

Instructions to make Orange icecream:
  1. First beat the cream. Add condensed milk. Beat again. Add lemon zest and lemon juice, mix well. Add vanilla or orange essence. Mix well.
  2. Now, cut upper portion of the orange. Using knife or spoon take out all the pulps and keep in another bowl. Now don't throw the upper portion of the orange. Instead cover the orange with the cut portion and wrap using plastic wrap. Keep in the refridgerater.
  3. Now coming to icecream mixture. Blend the orange pulp in a blender to prepare juice. Using strainer you can strain the juice and remove the pulp. Now add this juice to the icecream mixture, add saffron milk. Mix well. Add tutti frutti.
  4. Transfer to a airtight container. Wrap with plastic wrap to avoid ice formarion. Now cover the container with lid. Keep in freezer for 4-5 hours. Take out the ice cream. Using scoop, mix the ice cream again.Now take out the orange (we kept in refridgerater after removing the pulp). Fill the orange with ice cream. Cover it and keep in freezer for another 4-5 hours.
  5. Take out after 4-5 hours. Orange icecream is ready. You can serve as it is or cut into 4 pieces and serve. Enjoy this delicious icecream

They're ridiculously tasty and disappear too fast. This ice cream is just like that only better. I wanted to recreate it but in a better way.
