  6. Cool it for 2 hours or until properly set.
  7. Decorate according to your choice and serve. I have decorated it with whipped cream.

The bread is soaked in a rich and creamy chocolate custard, before being finished with a final drizzle of chocolate just before serving. Brush with marmalade again for a glossy finish, then serve warm with double cream. Put the cream and milk in a pan. Bring to just below boiling point, then take off the heat and stir in the chocolate until it dissolves (put back on a very gentle heat if you need to). Cube remaining butter; place in a small saucepan.
