  9. Prepare 110 g caster sugar
  10. Get 1.5 lemons
  11. Make ready 140 ml whipping cream

Easy homemade lemon tart is a great citrus dessert made from scratch & using basic ingredients. It's a perfect baking project for kids as well! This homemade lemon tart is also perfect for beginner bakers! It is very tart (much more so than a lemon meringue.think lemon bar from the bakery), which I love.

Steps to make Lemon tart:
  1. Cut butter into small cubes, then add the flour, sugar powder and salt. Mix them together. Then add a egg.
  2. Shape the dough and cover it with plastic wrap. Put in the fridge for 1 hour.
  3. Take out the dough and roll it into a nice circle. Speay some flour in the tart. Cut the dough in to circlrs and lay it into the tart. Put it back to fridge for few minutes.
  4. Bake it at 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  5. For the filling, you need 4 egg yorks, add the sugar. Then mix them together.
  6. Zest a lemon and squeeze out the juice(two lemons). Add into the mixture. Add in the whipping cream and our lemon mixture is done.
  7. Sieve the mixture and pour it into our tart. Bake it at 120℃ for 20 minutes.

I will make this again but I would blend the sugar up in a processor first to make it a finer grain and help. Whilst the tart is baking, prepare the raspberry chantilly by whipping the raspberries, sugar, vanilla extract and cream together. This classic French lemon tart is the quintessential French tart, found at patisseries and cafes year-round. Cool, sharp lemon filling contrasts nicely with the flaky, slightly sweet pastry. The classic Lemon Tart has always been a staple in my house.
