  5. Make ready 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  6. Prepare as requirements Butter
  7. Get as needed Chocolate chips

Finger Millet grows in various states of India and Africa. In India, it is known in different names like ragi, madua, mangal, mandia, taidalu, kezhvarangu, nachni, ragula, etc. With you finger tips, crush/mix the butter with the flour. Take Ragi flour in a pan and dry roast it for couple of minutes till its raw smells goes away.

Steps to make Finger millet flour and jaggery cookies:
  1. In a bowl add finger millet flour,wheat flour, jaggery, vanilla extract, baking powder and mix it.
  2. Add little butter(room temperature) and mix,again add butter and mix it. Knead a tight dough and put in the refrigerator for a 1/2 hour.
  3. Then roll it very smoothly and cut it with cookie cutter,put chocolate chips.
  4. Bake it in180d for a 15-20 min in preheat oven.

Remove this to a bowl and let it cool down completely. hi. can we prepare other millet biscuit using same method as in ragi cookie,, how abt using panakalkandu instead of white sugar. will panakalkandu be used as. Mix Finger millet flour and water into a paste. Heat the mixture in a thick-bottomed vessel on medium heat, stirring constantly.
