For the cake, place the beetroot into the bowl of your mixer along with the eggs, oil, sugar, flour and cocoa powder. Turn on a low speed and beat until fully combined. Sieve the cocoa, flour, baking powder and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Drain and halve the beetroot, then blend in a food processor.

Steps to make Beetroot cake:
  1. In a bowl seive flour, baking powder, baking soda mix well and keep aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl add ghee and sugar and whisk well until sugar melts
  3. Now add all ingredients and mix well
  4. Take a tin and brush ghee and dry flour pour the batter and tap it well to release air bubbles.
  5. Now bake the cake in cooker for 35 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Beet cake is ready it decorate with icing sugar, chocolate syrup, jelly, jam and choco waffer

With the machine running, add the eggs one at a time, then pour in the oil. Tip the beetroot into a food processor and blitz until chopped. Add a pinch of salt and the rest of the ingredients, except the oil and chocolate. When completely mixed (you may need to scrape the sides down once or twice), add the oil in a steady stream, as if you were making mayonnaise. Use a spatula to fold a quarter of the egg whites into the beetroot mixture to loosen, then once combined, fold in the rest but try not to over-mix.
