  6. Spoon this panna cotta mixture into glass or bowls and set it in freezer for about 2-3 hours. Set one layer and then add the next layer and freeze again.
  7. Top it with some fresh strawberries and mint leaves and serve it chilled.

A wonderful ending to a meal any time of year, chilled desserts are especially nice in the summertime. Enjoy garnished with creme Anglaise, ganache, berries or berry sauce, or some shaved chocolate. Add the cream, milk, sugar to the sauce pan. Scrape the vanilla seeds from inside the pod and add the vanilla to a saucepan on medium/low heat. Meanwhile, combine the remaining milk, the brown sugar, chocolate and a good grating of nutmeg in a medium saucepan.
