  1. Bring to boil condensed milk with 3/4 cup of water.
  2. In another bowl, dissolve the remaining water with rice powder and vanilla essence.
  3. Slowly pour the rice mixture over the hot milk constantly stirring and cook on low heat for 5 mins or until it thickens.
  4. Add rose water and mix well.
  5. Serve into bowls and garnish with pistachios.

Add cornflour to the milk in the bowl, along with sugar. DIRECTIONS Using a little of the milk, mix the ground rice and cornflour to a smooth paste. Over a medium-low heat, slowly heat the sugar in the rest of the milk. Stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, and being careful not to burn the bottom of the pan, add the paste to the milk, and simmer the mixture until it is just off boiling.
