Flake Ice Cream - The inspiration. About a decade ago, I was obsessed with this chocolate ice cream I could get at our local grocery store. It was the best vanilla ice cream with these amazing chocolate flakes all the way through.

The ingredients needed to make Chocolate Flake Ice Cream:

1. Get 1 1/2 cup Whipping cream (35% milk fat)
2. Take 1/2-3/4 cup Condensed milk
3. Take 1/4 cup Dark eating chocolate, grated
4. Prepare 1/8 tsp Pure vanilla extract

Steps to make Chocolate Flake Ice Cream:

1. Chill the cream and condensed milk in the fridge until thoroughly cold.
2. Beat cream in a large bowl with an electric mixer to soft peaks. Add condensed milk, vanilla extract and beat on high speed to stiff peaks.
3. Gently fold in the grated chocolate and transfer the mixture into a container. Freeze at least 6 hours or overnight.
4. NOTE- I used Lindt dark chocolate 49% in this recipe.
