Hey everyone, it’s me again, Dan, welcome to my recipe site. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, caramel custard. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Caramel Custard is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Caramel Custard is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

Caramel syrup will run down sides of custard, forming a sauce. Custards are pretty easy to make, but they need a little tender loving care when they bake. Slow cooking and gentle heat in a water bath helps to prevent curdling.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have caramel custard using 6 ingredients and 9 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Caramel Custard:
  1. Prepare 85 g sugar
  2. Take 7 ml water
  3. Get 250 ml milk
  4. Get 100 g heavy cream
  5. Make ready 2 eggs
  6. Get 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

That is, a caramel custard layer topped with a light and fluffy chiffon cake layer. This recipe tastes best when served chilled. It is a combination of a sweet caramel custard with a tinge. For caramel - In a steel vessel , put sugar and heat it on medium flame.

Steps to make Caramel Custard:
  1. So first we’re going to make the caramel put 40g of sugar into saucepan along with the water
  2. It’ll slowly become yellow - golden brown immediately turn of the heat
  3. Do this real quick pour it into your custard moulds evenly and swirl it to cover the base of your mould, btw you can use anything as moulds as long as it’s flat
  4. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk it
  5. Whisk until pale, into a saucepan your milk, sugar (45g)
  6. Heavy cream and that dash of vanilla stir well until you see smoke, turn off the heat
  7. (Heat your oven to 150c), whisk while incorporating your milk mixture with your eggs, after combine, sieve the mixture and fill your moulds evenly
  8. Your moulds should be placed in a tray, add boiling water into the tray and place it into your 150c oven for 30-40 minutes depending on how big your moulds are, the bigger the longer, after baked take it out and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours
  9. Run the knife along your moulds and serve 🤤 I hope you enjoy ! Try it when you can

Pour the custard mixture into the caramel-lined dishes, distributing it equally. Place the individual dishes in a large ceramic or metal baking pan with sides. The "caramel" was very gritty and the "custard" was more like the consistency of a curdled omelet. But I was sure I did something wrong, so I made it again. The custard was a much more pleasant consistency the second time around, but it had no taste.
