This month, I combined all three to make a very simple, very quick and very delicious ice cream. Incidentally, whilst amaretti biscuits are traditionally made from almonds, amaretto liqueur, which has a similar almond flavour, is commonly made from apricot pits, with or without almonds included. Wrap the assembled sandwiches separately in parchment paper or foil, and store overnight or serve immediately. These biscuits are slightly flakey, very moist with a cake-like interior. A cross between a biscuit and a piece of chocolate cake. I'm mad at exactly none of this. Whip up some whipped cream, slice some strawberries, macerate the heck out of them, and serve.
