The ingredients needed to make Apple rabri:
  1. Take 1 litre full cream milk
  2. Make ready 3 apples small
  3. Get 3 tbsp sugar
  4. Make ready 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  5. Get 8-10 almonds crushed
  6. Prepare 8-10 pistachios crushed

Simmer till reduced to half the original quantity. Add sugar and cook on low heat, stirring continuously. Apple Rabri is one of those desserts which is very simple to prepare but taste divine. It's a pity that I ignored this wonderful dessert for so long but then I have my own reasons for it.

Instructions to make Apple rabri:
  1. In a heavy-bottomed bowl, boil the milk on low heat until the milk quantity is halved. Then add sugar and dryfruits and stir continuously with a spoon.
  2. Peel 2 apples and grind them in a grinder to make a paste or grate them. Now mix it in the thickened milk. Boil for 3-4 minutes, add cardamom powder and mix well, turn off the gas. Cover and keep for 5 minutes.
  3. Take out in a serving bowl top up with some chopped dry fruits.

You see I always assumed that making apple rabdi is a tough job! How to make Apple Rabdi Apples are peeled and grated first than it is roasted on medium flame with sugar. Later, roasted apple mixture is cooked with milk and dry fruits. In Apple rabdi, we do not need to boil milk too much to get thick. Method : Heat the milk in a heavy bottomed pan and boil on a low flame until it reduces to half quantity.
